Springtime | A pink explosion

It's May but temperatures aren't exactly Spring at the moment.  This week we have had more rainy days than sunny ones.  I've always attested loving autumn colours but somehow this year, my eyes have been opened to the vibrant Spring colours.  As winter fades away, you notice buds appearing and suddenly one day you get an explosion of colours.  Mainly pinks from magnolias and cherry blossoms, and purples from hyacinths and wisterias. My loves I've not been to Greenwich Park for their cherry blossoms but heard from Rachel that we should make a visit this Spring.  We agreed to but had no idea when would they be in full bloom.  CY helpfully pointed out that we could monitor via Instagram posts because you can be sure of many posts once these trees are Instagrammable.  Such is life now with social media now isn't it?  It's a bit sad, this silent Instagram competition.  Anyways.. We met up for a pub lunch on a Sunday before making our way to the row of trees
