More of Izzy's Modeling Adventures | Lipsy London

Izzy's third job was with Lipsy London.  I didn't know they do children's clothing and at the shoot, I was told it is a fairly new thing.  We were meant to travel all the way across London to the North west, and by itself we were meant to take more than an hour for our journey.  But it turned out there were train delays that morning, and it took us almost 2 hours to arrive!  I gave the agency a heads up, and I felt really bad as the agency was texting me to say they were still waiting for me.  We ended up to be 40min late, though it was through no fault of our own. Taking the tube - travelling to the shoot location Hair & light make up Immediately they sat Izzy down for a light hair and make up.  As expected she kinda froze cos to be fair, we rushed in and they whisked her to sit on the high chair and I think the speed of things caught her by surprise.  I had to keep reassuring her that it was fine.  No surprises there, she refused to smile and pose.  She started by cli

France Summer Road Trip | Epernay

Here I am, wrapping up finally(!) on our road trip which probably would have bore you by now.  I did think of skipping this leg, but thought I should just end it nicely, even if it's for me to have a read in years to come.  So here it is! Epernay is a town very close to Reims and it is the champagne capital in France.  Big champagne houses line the famous Avenue de Champagne and typically many tourists would throng this avenue looking at the big names and choose one or even a few tours to do.  We only had time for one (and I do think one is sufficient) and I chose none other than the grand Moet et Chandon.  I was very organised for this one, and called up the day before to book for an English tour.  Tours on their website are conducted in French so yes a good tip is to call them up directly and ask for the English tour. We had an hour before our tour and they kindly allowed us to park in their estate whilst we walked up the avenue.  Pictures galore.  The kids ran up and down having

Izzy's modeling adventures | M&S

Exciting Izzy news to share - she took part in 3 modelling shoots in both September and October.  Not many people know this, but she has been signed to a child modelling agency since she was less than a year old.  Prior to this September she had what I termed a "one hit wonder", in that she took part in a clothing commercial, done by Zippy, which is a Portuguese clothing brand.  It was a unique campaign - the children's names were very important because they wanted them to sound like the lyrics in Lean on Me.  If you are keen, you can go to YouTube and search for " Zippy One Big Family " and you will see her there.  She was about 18 months old then and she had the most outfit changes amongst all the children.  At the end of her 5th outfit change, she was very cranky and kept crying because she didn't quite understand what was going on and she needed her nap.  Of course when the video came out, we were immensely proud and shared it with all our friends and fa
