Adele Live 25 Tour

I'll take a break from K's birthday celebrations for a bit. The reason why we had to fly back to London by 21st March was because I had a date with Adele, well sort of.  With 10,000 other people.  At the O2.  I was so excited when I managed to get two tickets for her concert last October, but K who isn't a big fan, actually asked me to ask a friend along and that he would only be my back up choice.  I wasn't sure if he made the right choice then, but now that the concert's over, I think he did make a wrong choice! I managed to get Coleen to take over his ticket and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening.  Unfortunately we were both perched up on the 4th floor so any attempts to take photos of Adele on my phone didn't turn out too well. The crowd in anticipation.  She opened the concert with "Hello" There were no supporting acts.  Neither were there any costume changes.  In fact, she is wearing the same Burberry dress for the entire tour!

Happy Birthday, my love

Time flies and we found ourselves celebrating K's birthday.  Last year we celebrated it back in Singapore and this year is no exception, more so a milestone birthday for this birthday boy :) I had arranged a series of surprises for him with friends and family.  In fact today we just wrapped up with a (final) birthday lunch! It started in Singapore.  We met up with ex-Londoners at Imperial Treasure (if you go to the Paragon branch, please order the peking duck because they don't call it super peking duck for no reason..).  Our best man CL surprised the birthday boy with longevity buns!  This Chinese restaurant does not serve any cakes but said they can serve these birthday buns - one for each of us.  The lovely couple CL and wife even remembered to bring a birthday candle for K.  Too cute. On the day before K's actual birthday, we celebrated it with his family.  Starting with a hearty meal at Jumbo Seafood @ Dempsey which was oh-so-good.  We definitely had an i

Reunion again

It has been rather quiet in this space because both K and I spent two weeks back in Singapore!  Whilst we battle out this jet lag, here are a few photos to share... Feel the love.  All grandma's dishes. My cutie pie and me.  One thing for sure, this little gal doesn't need any mascara in the future. #mesmerising eyes She's just learnt how to sit cross legged (and take some cooking lessons) A few reasons why I was home so soon... We celebrated my grandma's 92nd birthday Little Sarah was captivated by the candle and wanted to be part of the celebrations 4 generations in one pic here! Family shot K and I also tried to be tourists and explored around while looking for local food to indulge in Don't think I've been back since Victoria Concert Hall was refurbished Having an after dinner drink Katong Laksa We attended K's cousin's wedding Another family shot, with K and his fam
