We have been back in London for more than a week now, although it feels much longer than that! London has been experiencing a heatwave for almost 4 weeks now we hear, and boy this heat is not making the transition back any easier. Our house is very well insulated now, so at night it retains the heat and we only have one fan in the entire house. We are always reluctant to buy more fans, just because we don't usually get above 30deg in summers here. Even if it hits above 30deg, it will not usually last more than a week.
