Pumpkin Patch Fun

We visited a pumpkin patch last Sunday with some friends, taking advantage of the sunshine.  Took quite a few photos too.  What do you think? Pumpkin king It was lots of fun and all of us took so many photos that day.  Everyone had ideas on how I could use my bump to double up as a pumpkin and blend in!

Coming soon this Christmas

So K and I have been keeping a big secret and I think it's time we let it out :) Coming soon this December, our precious bundle of joy! With the house extension happening since March and still not done even as I type, you can imagine there has been loads happening in our lives.  We've had to prioritise certain things, and K has been impatiently chasing up the builder, asking when would our house be done.  We are not even thinking about our nursery yet.  We just want our remaining two bedrooms to have painted walls, fitted lights and flooring to be put in.  And of course our lounge too, which is in a dusty mess at the moment cos they just finished with the rewiring. In any case, we did go away for a short getaway recently (well, at the end of August over the bank holiday weekend) to Yorkshire, and took some photos.  We had glorious sunshine for one of those days and K took some shots of me and the growing bump :)  Clearly I am bigger now! A day in the life... of me!

The alarm goes off at 7am for me.  I snooze a little and get out of bed.  K wakes up at 730am and literally takes 10min flat to be ready and out of the house.  Together we leave the house at 7.40am and take the 7.46am train every morning.  It is always a race to get seats in the train if I be honest.  Depending on luck, one of us might get a seat or on good days we both would get seats haha We arrive at the train station about 35min later and walk to office, it is a good 20min walk for me.  I usually arrive about 8.40am and about half of my colleagues are in by then.  We greet one another good morning and sometimes ask each other how was the evening before, whether we did anything nice.  I log in and start checking my mailbox, and decide what are the important things to be done that day.  I go to the canteen on the first floor to get some breakfast.  Most of the time it is peanut butter toast, sometimes I add a hash brown and some baked beans.  Or it could be toast with a fried egg o
