Lockdown life has been so mundane and boring, and Isabelle and I had been praying for the snow to come. Every night before bedtime, I will always add in "and dear Jesus, please send snow so we can play and build a snowman". Each time Izzy will always tell me "Mummy you need to be patient. You need to wait and we will have some snow." Indeed, we did have quite a bit of snow last week, when Storm Darcy approached and with it, we had 3 days of on-and-off snow. Woweee, we were so excited and happy, well actually mummy was the happiest. We played mainly on the patio and we built a snowman whom we called Olaf (yes the Olaf snowman in Frozen). Izzy went out everyday to play with the powdery snow and loved it. Gabriel on the other hand, wasn't a fan of the snow (or the cold perhaps) and kept crying whenever we brought him out. That few days were really fun and memorable, and like a friend who texted me, she said the snow was definitely a mood lift...
