Bel's Unforgettable Wimbledon Experience

omg, I can't wait to blog about this one even if there are no pictures as of now. I was smacked with a Wimbledon blessing by dear Sabrina! Yes Wimbledon!! I have to admit that I know nuts about tennis but then I do know it's Wimbledon we are talking about here!! (yes still in a very excited mood now :D) And best of all, *drumroll* it was Centre Court tickets and.... and... watching Roger Federer play in person!! *super gasp!* God-smacked blessing it is! I really wish my brother could be here and after experiencing it first hand, I regret not going with him to queue up for tickets last year.. *sorry bro* I hope there would be another chance and he can watch his idol play in person and appreciate it more than me. He was watching it on TV back home and texting me "Can you bring Federer back for me pleaseee..." haha yeah rite. It was such a beautiful, beautiful day. We spent the whole day in Wimbledon, starting off with having a free Pimms drink with strawberries and cre...

Updates

It was the day of the big move last Saturday... all I can say is it ain't easy trying to move from one apartment to one room. There are still many boxes waiting to be unpacked and I am just gonna take it easy now. Last Friday was the draw and I got team Germany! whew, I know Germany's a good team, having won the World Cup before. Askar says it's because I have some affinity with Germany haha. maybe that's why. Colleagues who got lesser known teams looked pretty disappointed for as you know, people want to get Spain, Brazil, Argentina.. and so the rest tried to encourage them with straight faces...

Volunteering Day

Kat and I signed up to volunteer for a kids sports day event today. Doing charity work plus no work, how great a combination is that! Kat insists I am doing this because I don't have to work. haha don't you doubt my charitable spirit is all I have to say. =P When we first saw the kids, both Kat and me were looking out for the uber cute ones. And we spotted this cute curly blonde kid in the midst of the screaming kids. Seriously, she looks like a doll with the blue eyes. And we got so excited.. nudging and saying "ooh look at her, she is so cute!! Such curly blonde hair!" When we had a chance to speak to her, I went "awww what is your name?" And then came the answer "Oscar." We froze. Oops, he's a boy!! hahaha we definitely had a good laugh over it. After 6 hours, I have new found respect for teachers. Those kids we played with are aged between 3 to 5. And when they gather, all hell breaks loose. They run, they jump, they yell, they ...

Can the weather get more depressing?

Now that we have warmer temperatures, it has to rain. Heavily somemore. sigh
