In many ways, I am very thankful for my team because on our floor in GEM, we are the only ones with team lunches and dinners (something familiar back home) and tonight on a spur, we decided to go for an Indian dinner again, at Lahore Kebab House at Aldgate East.
It was so delicious as usual and for once, I like mutton! (I'm usually scared of the mutton smell but this lamb chop has none of it!) After dinner I walked back to Moorgate with Cyrus and Onur; it was a nice cool walk and we had a nice time just talking about work, about office, etc.. usually we don't do this in Singapore but I think we walked about 4 train stations (must say stations are closer over here in central London than SG).
Onur said he will bring us to eat nice Turkish food next time. *jiemei if u are reading this.. I know what you are thinking. totally haha* and I am certainly tempted to bring them for a nice Chinese meal next time too. Cross cultural lessons in food. mmm...
