I have to officially announce that my new life in London is gonna start this month - MAY 2009.
Reason is that my housemate/ friend/ buddy Cynthia will be going back Singapore end May. Yes big decision for her, big impact for me. I came to know about it after she came back from Singapore in March and it was officially approved on 22 Apr, exactly one year since we came. I have to admit MANY thoughts went thru my mind, at a loss to be precise coz the biggest implication would be on accomodation. I have to either look for someone to replace her, or else move to a one bedroom. Never did something like this before.. n wonder how it would turn out. The only thing I knew I have to do is to pray and trust God. He who has brought me thus far will continue to carry me through. Also one of the challenges was keeping it from my family as I didn't want them to worry for my too much. I just wanted to solve it and let them know once I found my place. I was listening to the sermon of the Feeding of Ten Thousand and pastor shared on how we should rest in Him and continue doing the natural, and God will do the supernatural.
I knew I had no time to worry and so I started calling agents and arranging for house viewings... after about 10 viewings (house no. 7 to be precise - number for perfection!), Praise Jesus, I found my place :) It is really a godsend coz it faces the docklands, 5min from the same massive Tesco, nearest to the station and cheapest (!) among all I've viewed. To top it all, the owner just did renovation throughout so I'm gonna get brand new furniture as well! How awesome is that?!
Yes since I'm now publishing this post, I have told my family about it. Worrying for me is unevitable but I know God will continue to take care of me like He has for the past year. It will be different, yes, and I pray that I will enjoy this new phase of enjoying my own bachelorette pad :)
I thank God for nice friends like Sabrina (who volunteered her place in case I can't find a place in time), Wen (who volunteered help from her and bf to help me move as they have a car and also her place to store my stuff if need be), Yeelin (who volunteered her strength to carry my things), Alicia and JL (also volunteering their help and time just before their families come visit), Ariel who volunteered as my chauffeur), Brigitta who was looking out for me in house hunting, and Kat too even though she's studying for her exams.. I feel so loved! Thanks guys, love ya all :))

Let me know if I can help you with anything (now that you don't need anywhere to stay) and I'll be there. :) Looking forward to dinner tomorrow night!
