If you recall, I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online from the Kurt Geiger sale which Jos sent me last week before I left for Germany... so tonight I went over to her place for dinner as well as to collect my shoes since she's in London over Christmas. omg 2 big boxes!! Let's see...
The first pair is a pair of gladiator sandals. I didn't have much of a liking for them but when Cynthia bought a pair from Singapore last year, I thought it looked pretty cool. I tried looking for a similar pair when I went back to Far East Plaza but to no avail.
Guess what- I spotted the perfect pair in the sale.. reduced from a hefty £75 to £19! Plus it is made of soft leather (lush!). Unfortunately I can't wear it now but it's definitely a good buy. So happy with it :D
The second pair was more of an impluse buy. Well, not really impulse impulse... it started off with Bridget wanting to get a pair of nice knee high boots and from helping her look for a nice pair, I ended up with a pair which I really like because it has two ribbon bows at the back. It was originally £150 (again, pure leather) and now it's reduced to £89. Ok I know this is expensive but that is what a pair of decent leather boots cost over here. Everyone tells me Cavela is a very good brand so when I opened the box earlier, I think I know why. Nice leather, nice smell, nice design. Oh dear me, should I keep it or return it? Jos and Kat keeps saying I should keep it... but... but... dilemma :(
Love the bows at the back. Should I keep or return it? sigh sigh
Nonetheless, must say online shopping is so fun! Just click some buttons and you sit at home and wait for them to deliver to you. Don't like? Bring it back for a full refund.
p/s Don't even ask me about my buys from the Boxing Day sale... altho I must say compared to Jos, it's close to nothing. She is a scary shopping queen.. jostled with the crowd at Harvey Nichols and managed to grab a Miu Miu leather bag on half price (originally £700+). Among other branded stuff. Suddenly my leather boots seem pretty cheap huh?! Haha don't worry, I won't become like her. I know my limits :)
