Race day, we were all geared up! Well not really... to be honest, the last time I ran was last summer. Err yes yes I know.. and then I got really worried about it last week but somehow I just couldn't find any time to go running (excuses I know, sigh) so I told the girls no choice man, I'm just gonna pray and go.
Sunday morning, bright and early the sun was out shining.. SHINING. In fact it was boiling. Just like Singapore. There were more than 9,000 pink runners gathered in Blackheath Park and the atmosphere was amazing.
Gabby and I were doing it for our moms, and soon did I realise that Silvia was also running for her mom, and Sarah was running for her aunt. It could be quite emotional if you think about it, but hey we were focused on the run.

We finished the run with a good timing (I'm not telling you hah) and look at how red my face was. Another inspiring run, seeing how many people are running for people they know and love.

Good on you for doing the run. Remember when I did it quite some time ago. It was so emotional and so uplifting at the same time. Well done!!! And keep running those races!
