Life is a little different now that Olympics is here. Everyone is still talking about the opening ceremony, and to get into the sporty mood a bit, I decided to go running with K on Saturday morning hahaha (Personally I am trying to avoid going into Central London because of the crowd, especially in the Tube.)
After the run, we went to a pub by the river for brunch, most probably piling back the calories with what we ordered. What a nice place in Canada Water, I can't believe I haven't been here the whole time I stayed there.
Guess what on Sunday, I had my closest encounter with an Olympic torch!! At a place which you would never guess - at church!
Turns out that one of the youth pastor's father was nominated to carry the torch at one of the stages, and they brought it in to the church foyer for a little bit of Olympic buzz. It created some buzz indeed, I had to take a picture with it :) Never mind I looked horrible.
Now, just looking forward to going to two of the games next week when Mimi arrives!!
