Truth be told, the 4 days we were there, the weather was horrible. Thankfully the company was great.
On Monday the sun peeked out although there were intermittent showers throughout the day. I felt my hair go from wet to dry to wet. Thank God none of us caught any cold from it. We drove to St. Michael's Mount in Marizion nearby. St. Michael's Mount used to be a monastry on this island but then became a castle and today it's owned by a family who resides on it, in their private Victorian wing. During low tides, you could walk over the pebbled foortpath. Really interesting. We went during the high tide and so we had to pay GBP2 each for a one way boat ride which lasted for less than 5min.

Half day left, we decided to drive to St. Ives a small town nearby. It's beautiful with lots of elderly couples sitting by the water watching time go by. Seagulls were flying around and it had such a relaxed feel about this place. We bought a Cornish ice cream each and walked around leisurely before finishing off with a Cornish cream tea. Cornwall is famous for their clotted cream tea.

And finally, Z took a pic of this when he took a stroll out along the promenade near our B&B:
Like how it's all peaceful and beautiful after the storm, the rainbow was there to remind us of God's wonderful promises and all of a sudden we realise, hey it wasn't a bad trip afterall.
