Been pretty quiet lately I know... what's up with my life you might wonder? A good friend is visiting for 2 weeks as part of his travels and so we, together with K ventured to the extreme western coast of the UK - Cornwall.
We spent 4 days in Cornwall, 2 days of which were spent in the car. A really long drive I tell you.. but I felt like a lucky girl because I had 2 drivers hehe
I told them I would be the DJ instead.. or sing for them lalala haha (luckily the radio was good enough).
Unfortunately the weather was not great (being the UK) and so we experienced a stormy Sunday. We bravely ventured out into the storm at Minack Theatre and Land's End, and we almost got blown into the Atlantic Ocean! The howling winds and crashing waves.. rain beating down in our faces. Wow what a moment. You are gonna laugh (actually me too now looking back at this pic) but I'm gonna show anyway. We couldn't open any umbrellas because the winds were blowing them in all directions, and so we had to buy some ponchos.. the 2 guys gave up after a while because the winds were blowing them in all directions and I used it for the purpose of blocking out the wind - it was freeeezing!
Yes as the name suggests, it was the extreme piece of land in Western UK, after which is the Atlantic Ocean.
Despite the scary weather, we did take some nicer (and less scary) photos on Monday. Will show separately because it's getting late and I need my beauty sleep now :)
