This time round, our trip back home coincides with the mid autumn festival so I managed to lay my hands on a box of mooncakes. Funnily enough, I thought I'd be savouring each piece of mooncake but somehow this year I don't seem that keen? Even I was surprised. My favourite snow skin... I wasn't that impressed either after taking a piece of sample and I didn't even buy any. I wondered what is wrong with me because my usual favourite Mei Sum mooncake now tastes too sweet for me. I mean I still enjoy it but the novelty seems to have worn off quite a bit this year. Oh no, is this a sign of getting old?
K's friend who lives nearby came over with his wife last night and we enjoyed the remaining mooncakes with a pot of Chinese tea. We tried looking for the full moon but couldn't locate it haha.. must be on the other side of the building. Nonetheless, it was a good time of catching up with them and telling them all about our recent Singapore wedding.
So glad it is Friday today. TGIF!

Love the teapot set too, a thoughtful wedding gift we received (I thought it has an oriental touch to it, no?
