16 episodes zoomed past like that and with that, I have finished watching Descendants of the Sun (DOTS). Now I consider myself a fan, one of the millions in Asia and round the world. I started watching the drama feeling somewhat skeptical especially I've never been into K drama - remember I watched to find out what the fuss was about - and yes now I conclude the fuss is legit! This is a really good one (good plot, superb main cast) that I am now a massive fan. Still considering if I should start watching another series but I doubt there is be another better one than this.
So whilst I try to get over my sadness at the conclusion of the series, here are some pics of springtime in our garden. What's happening in the garden you wonder?
Well we haven't really stepped in the garden since last autumn so it's pretty overgrown now with weeds slowly taking over the lawn especially on the sides. Growing season has started, people! One coniferous tree is leaning forward, ready to fall in no time, held back by two strings tied to the fence. We need a team (yes a team) to come in and tidy up the garden really. We have been advertising for a gardener and contacting people to come down and give us a quote to: chop down the tree, mow our lawn, remove the weeds, jet wash our patio and most importantly, bring the garden waste with them when done because the council won't collect them and we ain't gonna start a bonfire in our garden. We need it to be back in a maintainable state.
Nonetheless our cherry tree bloomed over the weekend revealing the beautiful white hanami flowers. How beautiful. With each new bloom, it is wonderful to witness how God's faithfulness is throughout the seasons.
